On top of creating a great sporting event we wanted to organise an amazing party night with FREE concerts. We have succeeded and so we invite you all to come and share this night with us and your friends amidst the gorgeous surroundings of Lake Geneva and in an idyllic festival atmosphere. There will be juggling, monocycle, tap dance and footbag show acts to dazzle your senses and five hours of life music to flatter your ears. Above all, there will be a legendary reggae act. All this will take place on Saturday May 3 from 8pm. There will be buses to get back to the city centre after the concerts.

Killamajaro (JAM) |
A legend amongst Jamaican sound systems, Killamanjaro can pride himself to dispose of one of the most complete collections of dubplates (songs made by an artist especially for a sound system) from old reggae artists (he's got 21 Garnett Silk dubplates for instance).
At any rate, Killamanjaro's reputation is well established and he will find it easy to have the lakeside groove to the rhythms of the greatest names in Jamaican reggae.

Half Pint (JAM) |
A reggae legend, Half Pint started to sing at school and was soon inspired by great artists such as Ken Boothe and Dennis Brown. He made his debut in sound systems such as Killamanjaro, Gemini and Black Scorpio. In 1985, he went on a world tour with Sly and Robbie and recorded their singles "Hold On" and "Night Life Lady". There's an excellent live album of this tour featuring Ini Kamoze and Yellowman. In 1986, he shook the reggae scene with his hit song "Greetings" which put him alongside the legends of reggae.

Somogo |
Somogo's kingdom is all rhythms, landscapes and atmospheres. This group of seven percussionists from Geneva bangs drums of many an origin and style. The result: a musical voyage that will take you from sizzling Brazilian carnival beats to African tribal rhythms in a matter of heartbeats.
All nuances and shades, their music never turns in circles but always charges ahead. SOMOGO unites five continents, a melange resulting in rhythmical hybrids that continually superpose and replace each other.
"Travel, escape, dance, close your eyes and drift away… Somogo is coming to take you away on exotic rhythms. A concert with a taste of paradise and rhythms of sunshine where the dancing gives free reign to the emotions and liberates itself from conventions".

Cali P |
This Zurich-dwelling artist of Jamaican origins is the talk of the town in the Swiss reggae scene. He's been part of several compilations and has recorded with Antony B this year. In short, Cali P is a highly promising young artist who is going to surprise more than just a few.
Magic Tuts are well established in Lausanne. In fact, their sound has had the clubs shaking from Lausanne to Geneva and from Nyon to Montreux for well over two years. They have played as supporting acts for great Jamaican legends such as Buju Benton, Max Roméo, Warrior King and Bushman.
Together with some founding members of Yagliyo Promotion they created their own studio in the city of Lausanne. This gives them the chance to record with fellow artists, be they local (Kamilean, Peter…) or international (Warrior King, Bushman, Max Roméo, Culture, Eco Minott…), as well as to perform all the classical studio tasks.
